Mike Likes Root Beer

My name is Mike Rastiello, and I like root beer. I like root beer so much that I started this blog dedicated to root beer reviews because I don't have enough to do apparently.

My favorite root beer is Stewart's, but the best root beer I've had (so far) is Henry Weinhard’s.

Henry Weinhard’s Root Beer is the best beer that I have sampled so far. When you first pour it out, you notice the dark color as the large foamy head tops it off. Weinhard’s has a sweet, but strong and bold taste. Unfortunately they use high fructose corn syrup, but it doesn’t hurt the flavor of the root beer. The “honey essence” listed in the ingredients is a nice touch that does not make itself very well known, but definitely adds to the taste. If you see Henry Weinhard’s at your local store you should definitely pick up a six-pack.
